I had an interview today and yep I was pretty nervous lol!
Hopefully it will all be fine so wish me luck! Fingers crossed.
This is a make up look I created a few days ago. I was looking for a shimmery but neutral look. I incorporated nudes, pinks and golds for this girly summery feel.

It's not exactly like its summer over here in the UK... All we're having is grey skies and random bursts of sunshine when the sun feels like it.
But hey, I'm entitled to wanting to get into the summer mood so here's a post with my fave summer fragances.
As you guys know from my previous posts, I love Prada Candy and I probably always will!
My mum got me my first bottle as a gift in a set and I love its sweet and girly smell.
It's pretty strong as it's an Eau de Parfum so it's lasted me for months and stays on you for hours, which is always good.
Body sprays are also great for the summer as they are a lot lighter than perfumes and you can just spray them as a mist to refresh you as the day goes on.
My two fave mists for this season are Victoria Secrets Strawberries and Champagne Body Mist and Bath and Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist in Japanese Cherry Blossom.
If you're a fan of fruity and vanilla scents you'll love these! Japanese Cherry Blossom is always in my handbag.
My mum got these when  she went to America but I know you can also order them online here and here.

Do you guys have any fave summer fragrances? I'll love to try some more out!

I love this top a little bit toooo much! It's not all the time that you find a piece that you actually LOVE.
It's literally become my fave piece and I must say, H&M, "You have done me well this month!".
If you haven't been into H&M recently, they have some cool bits in there.
I'm really in love with the versatility of the top and I love the fact that you can dress it up and wear it casually.
Here, I was out with my sister who I missed so much! We went to a talent show which was very amazing and refreshing to see all the young talent out there from singers to actors. I asked her to take some pics and she finally managed to work the DSLR lol (aww)!

Top: H&M
Trousers: Topshop
Boots: Online Store (I think it was Ebay)
Necklace: Topshop

I picked up this nail polish from Superdrug over the weekend and I really love the shade. It was only £1, so there are some really cool polishes out there for the summer that are very affordable. I used three coats to achieve this finish and it's still staying strong up until today. I am so going to buy the whole MUA nail polish collection by the end of the summer, I can just feel it! Their an affordable brand with great quality products which makes them very addictive!

neon and print

I'm so on the neon trend at the moment and I also love the timeless and clean look mixing adding white and black give to the neon trend.
I'm all about clean lines, detail, the way a garment falls on you and whether it suits you mood for that day when it comes to fashion. Today this outfit sums up my mood and I'm loving the lines on this look.
I personally think any one can pull off a high waisted midi pencil skirt. Whether you choose to pair it with a loosely fitted long sleeved blouse tucked in or a little crop top is totally up to you, but why not be daring!
A pencil skirt gives an amazing silhouette to any body shape as well adds a feel of sophistication, which is why I love them so much.. and if its high waisted, its double points from me!

Where is the sun in England, come out! I need you... So I can where cute outfits like this! lol

Crop Top - River Island
Blue Pencil Skirt - Monsoon
Bracelet - Marc Jacobs
Bag - Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch
Heels - Zara

Hope you all had a lovely Fathers Day!

Hi Guys!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!
Mine has been quite a relaxed one so far. Today I had a lovely day out as my mum said she'd love to send me for a treat and have a 'spa day' which was a lovely surprise. I am looking to find a spa package deal so I can also treat both my sister and mum, hopefully I'll find one soon. If you guys hear of any, please let me know :D

So apart from that tiny update, I just wanted to show you guys one of my 'Tolu' night time looks, the only thing missing here are the falsies which most of the time I do wear in the evenings.
The look incorporates copper reds, bronzey browns and gold metallic eye shadows from the Sleek Sunset Palette (which I love too much), Benefit's They're Real Mascara, MAC Lipstick in Hug Me along with my everyday foundation and concealers as a base.

Oh, I decided to do my eyebrows at the salon today.. Finally, the little beasts have been tamed! I waxed them and then got then tinted with a dark brown tint. I haven't waxed them in ages so believe me I was a little shocked when the lady pulled the strips away lol eek!

Hope you guys like the look! Tell me what you think :)

Today was another hectic but fun day! I'm very excited with the progress I'm achieving academic and career wise. (yay)

But now, I'm finally un-winding and relaxing so I thought I should show you guys what I wore today. I thought I'd do little print clashing with my casual outfit as well as embrace the crop-top trend.  My friend and I decided to head to Camden as we hadn't been there in years! It was pretty nice to be in that cool environment once again. Camden has it's own edgy feel which I love and it was even more nice as the sun came out to play.
Yes, I've noticed I love the colour blue too much & I need to step away from it a little, but I just can't help it lol!
I have to have a rummage through my wishlist and see if I can update my wardrobe with more colourful & summery garments!

Speaking of wardrobe updates... I how have a link in the tab bar section above called "Raid My Wardrobe", basically I have so many pieces that have never been worn and hardly used that I'd like to sell! I'll be selling some more on ebay too but I thought I'd also put a link here for you guys.
I'll be updating the link with more bits that I'm looking to sell. If you guys see any pieces you like feel free to get in contact or buy it right away! :D

One last thing... Pretty random.. But, I've heard people always talking about Frappuccino's from Starbucks and I've never got one before... Basically I'm a "Frap-gin" (here I go with my corny jokes again lol)... Anyways, I want to try one soon, I think it would be pretty nice on a summers day, so what flavour should I get?
(Very random question lol)

Hope you all had a lovely day!!

The weather has been less sunny over here in the London nowadays, quite cold & rainy, so I've found myself reaching for my wooly scarfs and snoods so much to stay warm!
I recently discovered a cool campaign being run by The Woolmark Company, who we all know as the worlds leading textile guys.
They are giving everyone a chance to participate in a really unique, digital world record attempt. I thought it would be great fun, so jumped on the band wagon and got involved!

Come and join me so we can all be wrapped up in the worlds longest social scarf. I'm really excited to be involved and I think its such an amazing and fun idea to get every one involved in this really cool world record attempt!

Check out the Wrapped in Merino Site for more information on how to get involved & be in with the chance of winning one of eight fashion prize packs, including Net-A-Porter vouchers and soft Merino wool scarves.

I'd love to see your scarf pics! Tweet me @ToluFashD

Some of you may already know that I attended a really great blogger event last week hosted by Organic Root Stimulator (ORS).
They are now launching their latest product range, Curls Unleashed, here in the UK so I was looking forward to learning more about the product and what they were offering.
I have been a little late putting up some images and updating you guys on how the event went, as I went away this weekend and it was very busy.
But all in all the event was amazing, the hosts were so lovely and it was such a nice experience!

Organic Root Stimulator are a very good hair company that sell lovely hair products catering to afro-Caribbean hair textures. I myself have a few of their staples in my cupboard that are in my hair regimen such as their Hair Mayonnaise which I use to deep condition from time to time. I have been using products from ORS (along with my other favourites) for years as it's just a brand that my mother introduced to me.

I originally heard about the event from Fiona from the Love Your Tresses blog and it was amazing to finally meet her after finding and following her cool blog (Hi Fiona!). I also got to meet the lovely Michelle for the first time from Kurls Koils and Kinks and so many other great bloggers which was a lovely experience!

The event was held at the Milk Bar at Grace just near Piccadilly circus station which made it really easy to find.
Upon entry I was greeted by two amazing beautiful American women, who were representatives from ORS, with the most amazing accents ever! They then gave me a lovely goody bag and that's where the fun all began.
The bar was beautifully designed furnished with sections where bloggers could get their nails done, have some eyelashes done by Kissed Lashes and also have a hair/scalp assessment and styling session.
After the short opening speech from the founder of Gidore (Image 2) we were able to mingle, talk and later on parrrty, which is always nice!

I am really looking forward to using the products from the goody bag, I must say it was a really heavy goodt bag, so I'm guessing there are a lot of cool things in there (yay). I can't wait to show you guys!

Did you notice the musician Omar in the 6th image down? Yes, it's him *big smile*! He performed for us all and we were all so excited! It really was an amazing launch for Curls Unleashed.

How was your weekend? Hope you guys are all having a lovely start to the week!

Shirt - H&M
Jeans - Levi's
Belt - Vintage

Happy Monday!
I hope you guys enjoyed today. It's bank holiday today in the UK so I'm guessing everyone either celebrated the day off or had a chilled day in, either way, I'm sure you had a great one.

I got this shirt in 2010 and it is one of my favourite shirts. I remember seeing it in the H&M in Covent Garden and just falling in love with it. I got it 2 sizes bigger than me as I deliberately wanted it to have that loose boyfriend fit although I sort of wish I stuck to my size as I'm sure it would look just as lovely fitted.
I cinch in the waist with a belt all the time just create a better silhouette, but I also just wear it loose sometimes for a casual look.

I'm so excited about this week as I have a cool photo shoot coming up, a hair show to attend and also my university's summer ball which is fancy dress, so it should be a really fun week!

I love Nail Inc London, the British nail brand, so I'm going to use them to create a stylish & patriotic British nail dasign! :)
I've been seeing a lot of the union jack nails floating around on Tumblr recently and i'm just so excited. It's inspired me to maybe experiment and create my own glittery union jack nail design! Why not? It's actually really easy!

What You Need:

Nail Inc Polishes In: The Hurlingham (Red), St Johns Wood (Blue), Floral Street (White), Burlington Arcade (Glitter - Optional), Orange Sticks, Nail Polish remover, Cotton Buds.

Step 1: Apply a base coat of blue nail polish and wait until it is completely dry.

Step 2: Grab your white nail polish. There's always a thinner edge on nail polish brushes so, using the thin edge on the brush create a star. (4 lines; one vertical, one horizontal and two diagonal in the opposite directions as seen above). Wait until completely dry.

Step 3: Grab your red nail polish. Create a star with a thinner line over the top of the white star just like in the image above.

Step 4: (Optional step) After your nails have dried just for some extra glam, apply a thin layer of glitter nail polish over the top & wait until completely dry.

Step 5: Clean up the edges of your nails with a cotton bud soaked in nail varnish remover. Its always nice to add a clear layer of nail polish to secure and flatten out the whole nail design. Wait until dry, this can often take up to 15mins.

Tip: If this is still a little tricky to achieve the star design, why not use nail art pens or dip the sharp end of an orange stick into your nail polishes and use it as a pen!? You can always clean your  orange sticks afterwards with nail polish. Voila!

Hope that helps! I'd love to see your unique nail designs. Feel free to send me pics so that I can feature them on Fashinate Me's Facebook Page!

I've been getting questions from people more frequently when I'm out and about about what make up products I use daily on my face, so I decided to write a post about what I carry around in my make up bag.

Firstly, I must say, I have a huge make up collection but these products I am showing you are the essential bits that I actually grab quite frequently for my everyday looks.
Sooo what are they already? I'll list what exactly they are in order below as shown in photo.

Wow, such a long list and I know what you guys are thinking... "Does she use all of that on her face.. all in one go?" ... No, I don't *phew* lol.
I alternate with the products I put on after applying my base.
I aim to do a daily make up tutorial very soon showing my basic and everyday make up routine to achieve a very simple everyday face with a glow that makes me look more a lot more bright eyed and awake.

Hope you guys enjoyed the post. What is your most favourite make up product you can't live without!? Let me know, i'd love to get more new product recommendations. Gosh, it's so hard for me to pick just one!

queens diamond jubilee
1. Friendship Bracelet -
2. Feather Earrings - New Look
3. Leggings - River Island
4. Shoes -
5. Lip Tattoo -

This morning was a beautiful morning. I woke up to several union jacks hanging out of windows and lovely bunting decorations around the streets, everyone is getting in the mood to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee this weekend.
It's lovely to see every one coming together, happy and celebrating at a time like this as its such an iconic year for Britain.

Above are some Brit inspired bits i'm loving at the moment, these pieces are really nice for just adding a little bit of Brit to your outfit, stylish and are not OTT. It seems that flags whether it be the British or USA flag are really in style at the moment and I don't know why but they just look SO FRESH & SO CLEAN CLEAN!

Whatever what you are doing why not get in the mood and celebrate in style, even if your not here with us in the UK!
This weekend will be an eventful weekend for us Brits, with loads of celebrations happening all over and loads of cool events.
The most cool events I have heard so far are the Thames River Pageant where there will be up to a thousand boats in one of the largest flotillas ever seen on the River Thames on Sunday the 3rd of June and the Diamond Jubilee Concert where our very own Ed Sheeran, JLS & the violent lips diva Ms Jessie J will be performing (Monday 4th June).
It should be a good LONG weekend!
Bring on the Bank Holiday.
