CASUAL WINTERS DAY

It's that time again and I must say I am very proud of myself as I have nearly completed my Xmas shopping for gifts for my family!
Over the weekend my mum woke up and randomly decided that the whole family should hop into the car and go far away for some Xmas shopping. I ended up buying the more presents than everybody else and my mum hardly bought any because she couldn't decide on what to buy (aww).
I've noticed she prefers to leave it to the end, I think she enjoys the last minute buzz, so I'm sure we will all be out shopping again very soon.
I've been in Topshop and Zara a lot recently and I picked up a few cute pieces that I love at the minute! This outfit is very casual and laid back but I thought I'd throw some Tolu in and wear funky bright yellow earrings I bought on my first visit to the new Primark in central London.

I love Xmas shopping with the family, can't wait to give everyone their pressies!

DEBENHAMS SS13 PRESS DAY

I was so happy to receive an invite to attend the Debenhams SS13 Press Day and have a little preview of some of the new releases for the coming year. I fell in love with so many of the pieces and ended up taking so many photos I found it so hard to narrow it all down. My fave stand-out brands for the coming season are definitely Red Herring, Ossie Clark, Nails Inc and Star by Julien MacDonald.
I spotted so many trends from the fashion week catwalks at this press day from see-through pieces to heavy metal detailed accessories. I then went to have a peak at the beauty products to be released next year and was shown around by Emily, the beauty press showroom assistant. Some products to not to be missed next year are Burts Bees new tinted lip balm collection, Transformulas Skin Care Range and YSL's Nail Laquer colours.
I can't wait for Spring and Summer to come back round to play already!

BAROQUE AND VINTAGE.

It's the start of a new week and I am really looking forward to the amazing opportunities it has to bring! I have some exciting posts coming up that I look forward to showing you all as this week as I will be doing a few things in fashion land, exciting!
I'm loving Baroque at the moment and I'm looking to get my hands on a few staple pieces that have the signature gold and black design on. I was really happy when I found these trousers in Primark on one of my random escapades in central London. I've always been the ecletic type and how I dress often reflects my mood. I hardly plan my outfits (unless it is an important occasion). Some days I am very minimalistic with colours and others I am drenched in patterns, sequins and embelishments. I definitley think fashion is much more fun when you can be free and and express yourself!

Happy Monday lovlies and have a lovely day. I will be seeing you very soon in my next post!

MOTEL ROCKS XMAS BLOGGERS PARTY

Hey Lovlies! Hope you are all well?

I was so excited when I received the invite to attend the Motel Rocks bloggers Xmas party! I trotted down to Old Street after work to meet with Desiree and was so happy to see my other blogger buddies Jen, Joy and Meera there too.
The Motel Bloggers Christmas Party was held at a very nice bar called Floripa and had a lovely warm coloured and tropical themed interior. It was decorated so amazingly and the dj was playing some great tunes which made me forget the freezing weather outdoors almost instantly.
I was lucky to be one of the first 50 bloggers to enter the venue and we all received a free outfit from Motel. I am so excited to show you all what I picked as soon as it gets delivered. We had the option of picking three outfits and one will be chosen and sent to us, so I look forward to seeing what I finally get.

The Motel collection has so many lovely pieces, its simply impossible to select one piece without getting distracted by another cute piece! I love the use of sequins, studs and glitter on this seasons pieces, perfect for Xmas approaching. Most of the dresses were great pieces for occasions such as cocktail parties or dresses for a night out with friends.

There was so much other fun things to do including hair styling by celebrity hairstylist Lee Stafford, make-up sessions with make up artists from My Face Cosmetics and eyelash fittings by Eylure (My fave eyelash brand so far) beauticians. Motel definitely pampered us throughout the evening and I had so much fun meeting and talking with so many bloggers like Kristiana and Annie!
As the night went on, we all went to get some yummy cocktails. I tried the Apple Strudel Cocktail which I would recommend if any of you ever have the chance to visit Floripa (its so yummy, sweet and secretly addictive)
Myself, Joy, Jen and Mari then thought it would be fun to try out the photo-booth. I went for another cheeky  session in the booth with Desiree and Annie, which I must say was hilarious. I looked pretty crazy with the reindeer antlers and the feather hat but it was definitely great fun!

All this celebration has definitely got me in the festive mood. I can't waiting to get picking some xmas outfits this season already and most of all I can't wait for Xmas!

BEANIE LOVE.

My latest obsession is definitely my Urban Outfitters beanie hat. It was a very random and impulsive buy one very cold evening as I was shopping in Oxford Street, but now it's turned out to be my fave hat that I wear literally everyday.
I thought I'd stay safe and choose a black one, but I love it so much I think I'll be a tad bit more daring. I recently saw an ox-blood beanie hat on Tumblr so I might just have a little search for one to nab very soon!
I've really underestimated Urban Outfitters in the past but they certainly have grown on me recently, so you just might start seeing a few more pieces from them in my wardrobe! I love their edgy and vintage twist on garments. Urban Outfitters, you are my new love.

H&M x M M MARGIELA - FAVE PIECES

I was very happy that I got the chance to go down to Regent Street to check out the H&M x Maison Martin Margiela collection today in London. I thought I would have avoided the crowds but to my surprise, it was still very busy (Even at 7pm!).
Everyone was buzzing and excited to grab their fave pieces of the exclusive collection. The collection mainly it consists of structured / editorial-esque evening and outerwear pieces, with very impressive line detail.
I felt like I had just walked into a whole different store with the hanging banners and Margiela signs all over the place.
These are a few of my fave pieces that I found tonight, I wish I could have taken them all home with me! The quality of all the items I could get my hands on was very good. The lowest priced item that I saw was £29.99 and the highest I found was £149.99 (Lower than I expected!).

I found that the sizes came up small which was pretty annoying. The painted white jeans were a killer to get into, but after a little shimmy they went straight on, which was a relief :)

Fave Pieces:
White Chunky Knit Cardigan - $99
Top - £29.99
White Jeans - £59.99
Cream Jacket - £79.99
Suede Jacket - £149.99

Were any of you able to check out the collection? Any favourites?
