It's time for some fashion... vintage style!

Today I had the great opportunity to visit one of the largest vintage clothing stores in the south coast of England, founded over 20 years ago, Clobber!

Upon entry I was shocked to see such a beautiful, traditional and fashionable store located in the middle of Bournemouth... so I just had to shout about it.
Clobber has two floors of good quality and affordable vintage fashion for both women and men going as far back into the 1920's!
I was even lucky enough to find up a pair vintage high-waisted Mulberry trousers for just over £20 and who would have guessed YES they actually stock many well-known designer garments and accessories. Many of today's fashion giants including Givenchy, Gucci and even Vivienne Westwood can be found on a typical shopping experience at Clobber.

Unlike many vintage stores I have visited, you do not have to go too far to find a beautiful piece in Clobber, it's well organised and divided into clear sections for an easy shopping experience.

Stripe Dress - £30
Metallic Top - £8
Black Skirt - £14
Maxi Dress - £140
Black & Brown Dress - £75
Gold Detail  Bat-wing Top - £16
Black Sleeveless Top - £7
Mulberry High Waisted Trousers - £22
Knitted Cardigan - £18
Top - £7
Top - (Mine)
Belt- £8
White Pencil Skirt - £8
40's Dress - £160

It's amazing to see the different pieces that were stylish several years ago still seem fashionable and wearable today.
What do you guys think about the pieces I tried on today?

I will definitely be having a visit to their on-line Ebay store very soon! Details below:

And lastly my favourite...
I absolutely fell in love with this Givenchy Spring 2012 collection as soon as I saw it!

I get a sense of a Hawaiian inspired theme running through this collection and I find the choice of colours rather unique.
Spring is all about newness, blossom and this collection idealises this idea!
The splashes of bold purple juxtaposed with the subtle pastel mint are a winner for me.
As always I will never stop adoring khaki green, but what I found amazing was Givenchy’s use of the colour normally associated with ‘utility’ wear on smart and tailored pieces! Amazing play on fashion boundaries here guys… I LIKE! The amazing structuring and line detail in the suits which are definitely must coveted trend soon to be seen in stores.

I recently grabbed a few make up and beauty essentials (shown above) that I had constantly been hearing several Youtube gurus rant about and after playing around with them for a few weeks and getting a feel of them, I thought it would be best to share!

Garnier Skin Naturals Eye Roll On

Great for reducing the appearance of tired eyes and dark circles. I have been using mine everyday for 3 weeks and seen a great improvement plus it leaves my eyes feeling refreshed after each application which I absolutely love! You can get yours here!

Loreal Paris Volume Million Lashes

OMG this mascara is like a magical wand. Just after one stroke your eyelashes appear longer. I'm not kidding, try it out! Amazing product and I will definitely be buying again! (I got mine in Extra Black from Superdrug (, however there are more colours and a range to enhance eyes of different colours)

Sleek Face Contour Kit - DARK

I bought this kit not knowing much about how to contour myself but the easy step by step instructions Sleek provide when you buy the product worked a charm and within 5 minutes I learnt how to highlight and contour my face (almost like a little pro lol!) I love the subtle shimmers and gold tones in the highlighter, perfect match for my skin tone - I purchased DARK 886 from Superdrug (

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish - in Deep Dark

MAC's minerlize skin finish does the job of evening out my make up, I apply it just after using my foundation and concealer to leave a smooth surface and create an airbrushed (but still natural) finish.
My experience with MAC products so far have been WOW. I would definitely say a big YES to buying make up in their stores or online (
I am a Bobbi Brown girl so as I was a MAC newbie I went into their store. So I sat down with a make up artist who matched my colours and showed me how to use their products effectively (I recommend going into a store and playing around with the products to get the perfect match, plus its a nice experience) I have found that MAC make up it a great investment, just like Bobbi Brown cosmetics and they are is highly effective, so I may be at their counter again very soon!

Make Up Store Lipstick in China Red

Roaming around in central London (Carnaby Street to be exact) I went into 'The Make Up Store' for the very first time and thought I should also try out their products so I picked up a red lippy in China Red. I got this for £6 BARGAIN!!
Here is their site

MAC Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15 in 7.5

This is the best foundation so far that I have ever used! It goes onto the skin so smoothly and its texture is very similar to moisturising lotion making it very manageable and also meaning it doesn't dry out the second it touches the warmth of your skin. I finish this off with the mineralize skin finish above in my daily make up routine for a natural looking base.

Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil - Dark Brown

This eyebrow pencil in Dark Brown is the winner for me right now. I found it hard to find the perfect colour for my eyebrows, pencils would either falling into the category of being too light or too dark. However this one is perfect, using the brush after application makes lines look less harsh, natural and helps spread the colour evenly.

TIP: Buy a pencil sharpener and make sure you eyebrow pencil is always sharp to ensure a precise and defined brow. In addition, having a freshly sharp pencil avoids bacteria that may have wondered onto the tip of your pencil - your wouldn't want that on your face now!

What make up and beauty buys have you guys bought recently? What products can't you live without? Let me know :D
